Name: Carolyn Rose, Esq.
Carolyn Rose graduated with a B.A. in psychology from Syracuse University in 1968. She received a M.A. in psychology from the City College of the City University of New York in 1981. She received her paralegal certificate from Baruch College in 1986. She received her J.D. from the City University School of Law at Queens College in 1994. She was admitted to the bar in 1995. In the years before law school, she worked in diverse positions ranging from a welfare caseworker to a child care and eventually as a paralegal position at Bronx Legal Services representing clients in Social Security Disability hearings. It was here that she learned her craft. Since becoming an attorney, she worked for seven years representing indigent clients at a legal services agency doing welfare, Medicaid and food stamps fair hearings and, in addition, representing clients in Social Security disability hearings. Ms. Rose currently represents our clients in Social Security disability claims from A to Z: initial application to Federal Court appeals.
